That's a beauty.

I'm a KAHR man but never seen one with that finish.

Who did the metal work on that ?

I took the image from Kahr talk. The owner says he did it in about 40 hours.

Plus its for sale.

I may look at buying it.

That's nice, I'd be afraid to shoot it. I'd shoot it, but I'd be afraid! I don't buy guns for the sole purpose of looking at.

Why be afraid to shoot it? I use to own an Ed Brown commander with a mirror polish, I shot it quite a bit, they do clean up after all. I do not buy guns for their looks either but they damn sure do not hurt :D

Mirror polish is pretty darn impervious to about anything. Even non-stainless guns with a mirror finish resist corrosion quite well. They clean up really really easy too.

Despite the fancy looks...that gun is made to be shot!

It's too darn pretty, I might scratch it.

Besides being great looking those finishes are functional. It makes clean up after a shoot a breeze.

You also don’t need to worry about scratching them because if you do it’s a pretty easy fix; unlike blue or painted finishes.

Here’s a 6†686 I did in a few hours while watching TV. ;)
