The Georgia Senate has now passed legislation allowing fireams carry by Carry Permit holders in unsecured areas of airports such as parking garrages, lobies etc. It now travels to the Georgia House.

In the video linked above, is a mini-debate between John Velleco of the GOA and Paul Helmke of the Brady Bunch. Helmke goes so far as to call permit holders "suspiciously dangerous people". What a putz!

After we get some more of the current legislation through our own state house, this is something that we should look into.

I don't understand why we can't, anyway. I guess the powers that be think you could sneak a gun on a plane, easier. Stupid!
