Thoughts on Bushmaster Modular AR15

Considering this rifle. Price difference new is considerable between it and a standard flat top. Website shows flip up sights, full floated barrel, fluted barrel and the quad rails. Is that about it? It isn't gas piston operated as far as I can tell.Any feedback appreciated.

From what I could tell, it's nothing special. For that $1400, you could do that to almost

any AR. Only real difference I noticed was the fluted barrel and floated forend. I wouldn't

even call it modular. I doubt it would stand out at the range, either.

Put a two piece front float forend on that and you would have a better gun, I think.

Much better route...Colt is a much better gun then the bushmaster.
