anybody have any good loads for a 243 shooting a 62gr bullet? my book only goes to 70gr. i looked some up online but they seemed like they were reduced loads as the powder gr was the same as the 70 gr and i think it should be a tad more.

For the 60 gr. start do not exceed

H414 43gr. 3423fps 47.5gr. 3724fps

IMR4895 39.6gr 3392fps 43.3gr 3785 fps

Varget 40.0gr. 3671fps 42.7gr.3816fps

For the 62gr., I strongly suggest reducing the loads. The difference between the 60gr. and the 65gr. is less that one gr. with the exception of varget which is 1.7gr. Actually there should be little difference between the 60 and the 62gr. bullets when reloading. I assume no responsibility for this data. It was copied from the source listed and is to be used at the loader's risk.

Sorry, I missed gregintenn's post. His source lists data for the 60 gr. bullet.
