By the way, I've owned a Bersa. I don't sell many guns, but I sold that one.

curious what you dislikedand what model you had??

The P6 is definitely on my list of things to own but I'm trying to build up my American Military collection first.

It was a Model 95 in .380 and the safety/decocker lever was tight and never loosened up. It was also too large for a .380 (IMHO).

The new S&W SDs look promising. Kind of a cross between an M&P and a Sigma. SUpposedly they have a better trigger then the Sigma and wholesale is about $20 mor ethan the Sigma so yuou should be able to get one for around $350.

If I were you though I'd og the used route and find an M&P. They can be had for $400 and if there is something wrong with it S&W will make it right.

Seems nice to me,look's identical inside to many higher priced

polymer wonder gunz ....

They are out of stock as of today. I was looking at that too. Local shop has em for $415 which aint too shabby.

That might be a better deal than Buds then; they add 3% if you use a credit card, you have a transfer fee, and they also want insurance on shipping.

Bought a Glock 19 (series III) last summer. Avoided temptation, waited, and saved until i had the $$. Have shot it boat loads since and am getting fairly good. Have not looked back. Feels good in my hand, works every single solitary time, accurate, 16 rounds at a time, carries light, breaks apart to clean in seconds. What more could one want? I will die with this gun. Think i like it? Now my KelTec and Ruger, well.....nice guns.....

I'd vote for the Ruger's, SR9 if you like striker fired or P95 if you perfer hammer fired. P95s for around $330 are a good value for a quality firearm as are the SR9s for about $400.

I also noticed some one mentioned CZ-82. Not actually a 9x19 but a GREAT gun for under $250. Accurate and VERY reliable. I may have to add another one to my collection.
