Brighter front sight solutions?

I like dayglo orange. I used some for my front XD sight. I used a paint pen. I was in Guns and Ammo down in Southaven the other day and they had a paint kit, with different colors for painting your sights.

Same here. I got some his-vis orange from a local craft store & id several of my front sights (hi-vis green for rear). I just used a toothpick to apply the paint. Very pleased with the result.

Why not just get the light tube front sight and swap it out. I picked mine up at Bass Pro for around $20. I think it is the HiViz. Came with the sight and 3-4 replacement tubes. Easy swap out.

Testors model paint...about $1 a bottle. It lasts well and you can always reapply as necessary.

Whatever color you choose, put a white base-coat on first...it will brighten up your chosen color.
