It is pronounced Sellyour Bullet. I'll give you fifteen cents per round of 9mm. :tinfoil:

I think it's kind incredible that S&B has been in operation in Prague and Vlasim since 1825 in that part of the world with all the upheavals in govt. and whatnot. I mean, that's like 95 years before even Czechoslovakia itself was formed.

I love their 9x18mm ammo. Haven't noticed it cleaner or dirtier than the rest.

As far as the continuity of the company...no matter how many revolutions and upheavals in that part of the world, they all needed ammunition...

Anybody know what kind of ammo they were making in 1825???

Must have just been black powder. I didn't think self contained cartridges came out until around 1850.

After reading Wikipedia, it appears they were making percussion caps.

In 1260, gunpowder cartridges were employed by the Egyptian Mamluks, for use in their fire lances and hand cannons against the Mongol army at the Battle of Ain Jalut.[3] The original cartridge for military small arms dates from 1586. It consisted of a charge of powder and a bullet in a paper tube. Thick paper is still known as cartridge paper from its use in these cartridges.

I've got their 00 buckshot. It's in a clear case so you can see the shot. Looks nice in a side saddle on a tactical 12 gauge Mossberg....

Garufa shot some Sellyour Bullet through my RIA 1911 yesterday. There was one fail to feed. Not sure if it was from the crappy magazine I handed him to use or because he is a limp wristed sort of guy. :P

I am not blaming the cartridge.

Pretty sure it was a magazine issue.
