Guns and Leather or Hero-Gear might have some in stock for less than that, but I can't comment on what they have in stock currently or their asking price.

Just pick up the phone and start calling some local shops. From my experience, I've found that (with the exception of TGO and a couple other sites) Internet forums aren't the most reliable place when it comes to folks saying what they paid for a gun.

I think Bud's and CDNN probably have the best prices. G&L did have them, but it was for more than either of the named above. But, you never know what they might be willing to sell one for. The Outpost also did have them. Just remember if you buy it in TN you will have to pay sales tax up front, but won't have to pay a transfer fee.

As for $200 less than now from gun boards, maybe buying something used or maybe some company bought too many with the LEM trigger and decided to unload them, but I haven't personally seen them that low at all.

For what it is worth I have the 45C and it is a terrific firearm.

CDNN has the lowest price I've seen: $918.56 at present for an American made one. Shipping is $14.99.

HK Specialist still has some new German ones for $929.00. Which is a very good price for a German one, which are becoming harder to find. I don't remember what shipping was when I purchased mine, but I think it was about the same as CDNN.

What is the real difference in a German made one and an American made one?

Nothing, seems the American-made ones are just as well made(some say even a bit better finished) than the German ones.

They can be found cheaper I bought mine used last year for $600 with 3 mags. and have seen several since for $650-700. You just have to wait and pounce when you see it.

^ Rediculous... That's typical of them, though.

If you didn't want to order, Chan, you could just get one from G&L - call, and if they have it, go there immediately.
