When not on tour, almost every major music artist based out of Nashville keeps their gear in these buildings...

Ask anyone in the music biz around here about "Soundcheck" and they'll tell ya.

(the half submerged semi's are for Toby Keith's production, amongst others...)

Here's a pic from Cowan Street of a couple buddies of mine riding wave runners in to check it out... 3-4 feet of water in the building. Millions of dollars of instruments and gear in there. Fortunately, mine was out.

A friend of mine posted this one on FB. Most likely the worst flooding pic I have seen...

That's inside the Grand Ole Opry right?

Peter Frampton had a picture of that building on his Facebook page and said that his equipment was in there. He didn't sound that concerned about the equipment but was more concerned for the citizens of Nashville. He said that he was planning a benefit concert to raise some money for the victims.

Did/could anyone get near the bluff next to I-40 at the grass farm

in Bellview? I'm wondering what the tracks look like. CSX is out of business from Nashville to Memphis for awhile. Looks like I get to go shooting this weekend. I've been around there with the water up to the ballast at the grist mill. From what I hear it was a lot higher.

Here's a couple of RR bridges in Kingston Springs and an old walking bridge.

I got some pictures around Bellevue but it was all with my phone and I don't know how to get them online from there. I've got one of somebody kayaking through the Publix parking lot off HWY 100.

There's no flood waters in these pics, but they're of damage caused by the flooding to Highway 7 coming into Columbia. It's amazing how much power fast moving water has. No telling how long it will take to repair all of the roads.

There's to be an all-star country flood-relief concert tonight, per our local NBC affiliate WMC-TV to be played on Channel 5.3 (local air "This") from 7 to 10, and Channel 5 from 9 to 10.

This is truly the largest disaster to hit this area in History. My wife has been donating furniture to a lot of people who need it, what is total Bull :screwy: is that some of these folks wanted to purchase flood insurance and were told that it was not necessary and were not given that option

Peanut M&M-size in middle-Memphis (U of M) at 6PM. Had to rush our autos to the carports of the two vacant houses next to us.

Peanut M&M-size in middle-Memphis...

Were you watching WREG? They referred to "tea cup sized" and "pinball sized" hail. WTH? What happened to the good ole coins, fruit, and sports ball sizes???
