Nobody here ever carry a 1911A1 in the service?

#1 Lock slide back. Place barrel over top of beer, push forward until dust cover is under

the edge of the cap. Rock gun forward, remove cap, enjoy.

Ha. I knew those guns were good for something.

Heh... let's see a J-frame do that!

:)

They won't. They weren't designed to. They were designed to provide easily concealable, reliable personal protection out to credible threat distances. So they fulfill their purpose pretty well. The 1911 otoh, it is good for opening beer.

Lock the slide back. Hold the pistol with hand over the rear sights. One rail goes under the cap, the other over the top, twist back and you're open, just don't do this with mine.

Lock back the slide. Drop the mag. Place in safe. Twist off cap. Drink beer. Repeat steps 4 &5 6-12 more times.....:tinfoil:

Drop the mag about an inch, place it on top of the bottle cap, put lanyard loop under rim, rock forward. Repeat six times, lock gun away, help best friend enjoy the effort.

One more for those of you who own high dollar 1911s with lowered ejection port.
