It sounds mighty good and now that it doesn't look like it will rain anytime soon we here at Casa Garufa may go back to plan A for the evening of grilling chickens.

If your chickens have gills, you might wanna reconsider plan B...

Sounds great and a good cookout, but sorry, BBQ is a dead pig. Chicken, like beef can be grilled, baked, boiled, smoked, fried, and flavored with BBQ sauce and seasonings, but BBQ is dead pig meat. LOL.

Cajun Pepper Pasta

1 box Penne Pasta

1 Red Pepper - sliced

1 Green Pepper - sliced

1 Can fire roasted diced tomatoes

1 Jar roasted red pepper Alfredo sauce

1 Package Aidells Cajun Style Andouille Sausage - sliced

1 pound of shrimp

Garlic - to taste

Boil pasta, set aside. Sautee garlic and peppers in olive oil. Pull peppers out and set aside. Sautee sliced sausage in same pan, set aside. Pour jar of Alfredo sauce and can of diced tomatoes into pan and heat. In bowl or large pot, combine cooked pasta, peppers, sausage, and olive oil & sauce mixture, mix well and enjoy.

I generally add some Cajun spice to the peppers as they are cooking for a little added kick.

BBQ chicken is grilled chicken painted with sauce. You all can make up your own definitions. I ain't from around here and I am not changing my ways.

I dunno what OS puts in the cole slaw but it is pretty darn good, could really taste the onions this time.

Hard to beat the combination of drippings from my wifes baked beans, OS's cole slaw, butter from corn and grease from ribs getting mopped up with garlic toast.

Yeah and beer, can't forget about the beer.

No juleps or funny hats. Did you see the winner paid 18 bucks on a 2 dollar bet?

OS did introduce me to some weird combination of tequila and peppermint schnapps. Oddly enough it was pretty good. Not trying it a second time.

and if any woman out there claims to make better beans than my wife I am calling a lawyer to get a divorce, cause I want to marry you. Never had better beans, ever.

I'm home...BUUURRRPPP...ah, that's better.

Cole slaw, nothing really special.

Besides the cabbage and smattering of carrot (store bought already shredded), add Vidalia onions, touches of red wine vinegar and horseradish, and the true secret ingredient, Duke's mayo.

I even got a care package to go, so I get to feast tomorrow, too!
