I could be there. Last time I went someone stole the lock so I'm not sure if we need new keys or not. The gate was unlocked last time.

What time did you have in mind?

I hope OhShoot can go, I need some help with a scope for my 10/22

OS is your man since he's constantly fiddling with some kind of scope. :D

If it wasn't for work I'd go up there all day. The weather is supposed to be perfect.

Perfect day to call in sick!

I can probably do anytime. I'd like to be able to shoot 2-3hrs at least though to make it worth my trip.

OS, You in?

Garufa, We could schedule it during the evening if that would work better for ya?

I have to work tomorrow night. I'm free anytime before 5. I wouldn't mind getting there around noon and staying for a while. I need to get my scope sighted in.

Guys, I'll be up there 1ish, don't have any other plans, so will probably stay a good while.

Yep, Eric, Garufa is right...I can sure show you how to fiddle with your scope.

And fiddle and fiddle, and... :D

I'm sure we can get it zoned in...it's a lot cheaper with .22!

Just got back from wally-world tonight and picked me up at bipod for my savage, and picked up a stapler for the targets. I'm ready to shoot!

I just noticed how nice it is outside, and I remembered this thread.

Wish I was there.

Yeah, wish you had been, too.

It was actually more crowded for a while than some weekends, everyone must have had the same idea. But still very enjoyable as always.

Tween Erik and Dustin and moi, shot 9mm, .40, .30-30, 5.56/.223, and beau coup .22.

Shot Dustin's M&P 9C, very nice and solid feeling pistola, I must say.

My Marlin would fire the Remington .30-30 rounds the NEF had failed on, but then the NEF shot 8 of the same Remington batch with no failures, also shot some Federals with no prob, so dunno exactly what to think.

Tapco 30 rounders for Mini 14 ran flawlessly, as had been reported by others. Quite a bargain for 12 bucks each assuming they hold up!

Fellow next to us was sighting in his LOUD .416 Rigby, going on safari vacation. Only shot at 25 yards, though, so either he's expecting to get pretty close to them Cape Buffalo and elephants, or maybe 25 yards brings you back right on at 150 yards or something with that baby? Dunno.

Oh, speaking of nice, you have a nicer side pic of Red as avatar! Some sort of new leaf?

Wish you could've made it too Mike. Had a great time. Good guns, good shooting, and good company...what more could you ask for?

OS made me shoot his Mini 14, and now he has me wanting one.

That thing is addicting. :bat:

Glad you guys had a good time. Now, no more shooting on school days! If I wasn't covered up at work would have been there.

We got Erik's scope in as well as we could, 4x fixed, so couldn't drive tacks or anything; I splained that you could teach him the finer points of One Ragged Holism.

Fortunately, these young men ain't minors, so I wasn't contributing to anything illegal.

The NEF must have just needed some breaking in. ;) The new avatar is courtesy of Jack from another thread. It's just temporary.

He can do that to a person.

It was good shooting today, Dustin made me want an M&P and Mac made me want a Mini 14. Garufa, you were right: All the noise of the AR without the complications.

Weather was better than perfect. I just wish I could have stayed later. My boss was asking why I was late for work. :D

Thanks again Mac for helping me with my scope. Let's try to get a group together soon to go again.
