I carried a M9 on active duty in Iraq and felt it was very rugged and reliable so now have a PX4 .45 that is very accurate with little recoil for civialian carry. You could do worse. I don't like 1911's cocked and lock thing.

I've owned several... Cougar, Tomcat, Jetfire, Mdl.1935 and they're all top shelf weapons, and I've yet to come across a bad Beretta. FWIW.

BTW...I'm looking for a Cougar 8045, preferably an Inox version, if anybody on here knows of one close.

I have an M-9 and it is the best and most accurate gun i have! Hence my handle of DeadEye! LOL

Check that link for 92 FSCeturions. also I know a guy in TX that gets good 8045's and ships them reasonable. PM me for details.

I own several Beretta's, I have bought some at a real good deal, I have paid more than others are "worth", none have ever failed me and I'll probaly buy more in the future.
