Can I carry...?

It is my understanding that since North and South Carolina have reciprocity agreements with Tennessee...I can carry there. Is this accurate? I'm going on vacation and would like to bring my gun with me...

That would be correct. There are several sites online which list the states, some even allowing you to download a "printable card" with the states listed so you can keep it with your license. Along with a "no statement" card and the states I can carry in, they ride in a bi-fold id wallet I use for my license and permit, so I don't have to reach near my gun if I get pulled over.

Also if you have an iPhone there is a free "app" that you can install that has this info and some other good info for gun owners.

Handgunlaw.us is a good source. Click on the state and you can read through the do's and don'ts.

Yes. It's called "Legal Heat".

I'm sorry. It isn't free any more. It's $1.99. I checked to make sure I gave you the right name and see now that it isn't free.

Just checked this and it only has 2 states listed. Guess you will have to buy the app.

I just got my permit. Could you elaborate on the "No Statement" card?

I googled but that didn't work out so well...

Also I can't find the site with the printable card.

I'm useless...

Thanks in Advance....

It's a printed statement you can read that you don't want to make a statement. Found on legallyarmed.com

Questionable value. Debatable.

Also I can't find the site with the printable card....

State Carrry Cards

I haven't checked it to see if it's right.

You can crossreference at handgunlaw.us .. they are very good at keeping current.
