I still remember where and when I had my first one, although in those days it came in a roll, like Rolos:

It may be for the older (almost-gerry) set.

Asking me, a fat kid, what my favorite candy is, is like asking an alcoholic what his favorite beer is.

That said, my usual's are:

Sixlets, Reeses, Snow Caps, any dark chocolate, Zeros, Candy Corn, real liquorice, 3 Musketeers, chocolate covered raisins, yogurt covered raisins, peanut brittle.

those are gross lol

Old people like hard candies. :(

Your all wrong and now you can't even get them so you'll never know!

The original Goo Goo cluster made at Standard Candy in Nashville

NOT the ones they have now. The marshmallow in the new ones won't even melt.

I used to get a Goo Goo when trips to Wayne County took a weekend because it was 4 hours + driving on the two lanes prior to I-65 existing. We would listen to the Grand Old Opry and they sang the commercial.

"Go get a Goo Goo, their good!" So we did!

I do my best to stay away from these, because if I get my hands on one...I will eat the whole bag. I have a friend in Montana that, between the two of us, went through maybe five pounds of them in four days of stalking antelope. They are addictive.

Makes my teeth hurt just thinking about it.
