Magazine fed shotgun

Don't fear plastic mags, there is no reason to. Our troops are using them overseas. The best mags out there for ARs and AKs are plastic. IDK about the AR mags, but the good plastic AK mags are metal lined like Glock mags.

Aw Hel maybe I'll just get both.

Now that sounds like a plan.

However, I have to agree with you about personal taste and feel.

I have always been a revolver fan. My first gun was a Ruger Single Six. Single Action Revolvers hold a special spot in my heart, always have, always will. A few years ago I began 'the hunt' for what would be my carry. I had a set of criteria, and the more and more I looked, the narrower and narrower that list became. In the end the short list was mostly polymer, which oddly enough was the opposite of what I thought I wanted.

I spent three hours in a gun store just holding my Glock 19 (after shooting it and a dozen other contenders) and just 'feeling' it. I never in my life would have thought that this emotionless brick of a firearm would become what it has.

What I am saying is, don't let a simple prejudice sway you from what may be a great choice. Feel it out and see if it can talk to you on some level.

If it can't, then maybe it really is just plastic.

Well since you're not getting a box fed shotgun, make sure to keep a bayonet on your sweet trenchgun. It'll never run out of ammo!

Are you kidding? I plan on mounting a bayonet on the trench gun, my .50 AR15, and having a bayonet lug on any other AR uppers that I get.
