My friends call me Martin. English transplant to TN via Texas much longer ago than I care to think about. Family man with two grown boys: One grad, the other currently an undergrad both from TN Tech. I would normally say GO Team at this point but their football really sucks. However, that's not why they're there.

I'm interested in fast cars [built a Shelby Cobra kit,] computers and guns. I don't care to hunt but paper trembles at my sight. I usually shoot at Prentice Cooper but not on the weekends because there are some unsafe shooters who frequent an otherwise decent and free range. I also shoot clays at Montlake, a well run and nicely appointed venue for shotguns only.

My wife is very understanding about my various obsessions, er, hobbies. I look forward to participating in this 'ere forum.

Hello Martin!! :P

I've got some friends in London. They still have trouble wrapping their heads around the fact we have guns. Took them to Wal-Mart when they came to visit and had to drag them out of the gun area. Told them next time they come over, I'm going to arrange a trip to the range.

Welcome. I'm from the Soddy-Daisy area too, but now in Nashville. I lived for 7 years in England...out in Suffolk and Norfolk.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone.

Daelith: Yeah, when my brother visited from UK he was afraid he was going to get shot walking around the neighborhood where we used to live in Hixson. Hixson, for those of you unfamiliar, is one of the safest areas around Chattanooga. He got over it and eventually we went shooting at Montlake.

barewoolf: Air force? I went to an airshow out that way at RAF Lakenheath, I think. Nice part of the country.

If you ever want some 'professional' pics of that thing taken, PM me.

I work free(models can be talked into free work as well  ) as long as I can use the pics in portfolio (TFP).
