I sent off the forms last week and today the ATF charged my card the $30.00

Is that any indication that the ball is rolling?

That was very quick, maybe it helped that I used my CC instead of a check so they did not have to wait for the check to clear?

I did not know it could be done that quickly, My friend in Texas that turned me onto the Idea waited like 4 months for his. It may be different state to state?

Not sure about that, but I don't recall anyone ever mentioning it taking nearly that long.

They had a hard time verifying my double-naught spy status.

Actually, they have 60 days to issue the license, and I do believe that is calender days. I called after about 8 weeks and asked the progress. Similar to TN HCP's it showed up about 2 weeks after asking. I did apply around the holidays and some of the process is handled by contractors.

Yep. I got mine exactly 3 weeks to the day that I mailed it off to ATF. They move pretty quick on the C&R.

Too bad NFA doesn't move that fast.
