My AR build, finished/ish at last

Very nice. I can't wait to trick out my RRA that I bought yesterday.

I know I need a flash hider. That's the beauty of these things. You can start with one thing and end up with something completely different.

I think you meant FSB (Front Sight Base). It is a folding front sight. A number of companies make them like that Larue, Troy, ARMS and others.

This one came stock on my upper from Bushy. After a lil look around on the web I came to the conclusion its from Yankee Hill Machine co.

This upper BTW was dead simple to service. The gas system is simplicity itself and the bolt carrier and bolt were barely dirty after 300 rounds of federal UMC 55g MC.

My only experience with AR rifles up til now was an Olympic arms model I had in the mid 90s. I hated it because it was so hard to keep clean/functioning. Most likely due to operator error.

Not the case now. Wow am I happy! Anyone else here have a GP upper?
