What's the weather like in your neck of the woods?

Looks like a pretty bad line of storms headed toward middle TN. Weather people just said it would be in Nashville in about an hour.

It just got a little nasty here few minutes ago. Some heavy rain, high winds and hail. Along with some good lightning and thunder right now. I didn't see any damage though.

Unconfirmed reports of small tornado in Downtown Jackson a few hours ago.....it got mighty nasty for awhile but is bright and sunny now and there is nothing else showing up as heading this way.

Radar is showing some nasty stuff approaching Bowling Green KY but the trail end of that squall is heading toward Nville. There is Purple in that tail end for those of you in Nville, looks to be an hour or less away.

Another group of mess is on the same NE direction and covers an area from Chatta to the Crossville-Cookville area.

I use the National Hurricane Center's radar, click radar and select the one you want to see, then at the bottom check auto update to follow the paths. You can see much more than the TV stations will show you.

I also use Live Police, Fire, and EMS Scanners on RadioReference.com for local police scanners. click on TN and then your local.....not all of Tn is covered but the Nville metro area is.

I'm starting to think the weather people might have their radar dialed up a little too high. 'Cause according to them and the radar screen, all hell should be breaking loose here right now... and we've got zip. A little half-assed shower and some distant rumbling is it. :-\

Not that I mind that it's not so bad as they're saying, but I'd like a little more accuracy in what they're telling us we're gonna get.

Yes what I am looking at is a thin but kinda long squall line with the nasty stuff above and below you, but it does look like you will get a bit more harder rain in a few and then it will all be gone......for today anyway.
