Just got my Kholster

I trimmed mine and although still very comfortable, it was more so in the big circle configuration.

You could always go to Tandy Leather, buy a piece of leather, and cut a new one... I've made several 'knock-off' holsters of this type, and making the leather part is relatively easy. (I use a small drill press to make the holes.)

Yeah, but we'd have to figure out how to get out those rivets (or whatever they are) that hold the kydex to the leather. They look the same on both sides (just a little flatter on the back). Ideas?

I use Chicago screws on mine - you could always drill them out and replace them with those.

Or heck - just do what I do and order some kydex on-line and make the whole thing. Tandy sells the leather, chicago screws, and the belt clips. I use a harbor freight heat gun ($10?) to heat the kydex, form it around the gun with spoons and chopsticks, and attach it to the leather. Works great - whole thing takes me about an hour.

Well I finally got the other kholster I ordered for my wife's LCP. It's itty bitty by comparison. Neither she nor I have put it on to try out yet, but I'll let you guys know what we think of it.

The pic was taken with my work PDA in less than ideal lighting. The holster isn't discolored like it looks. That's just from shadowing.

As far as the LCP Kholster, I found that I could not adjust the clips low enough to get the gun high enough (make sense??). I emailed Jimmy and he told me that he could make a replacement on a larger piece of leather (the crescent size) so that I could adjust it to my liking. I received an email from USPS about an hour later. He had the replacement on the way to me before I even had the shipping label on the one I wanted to return.

All I can say is that I am very impressed. I'll be buying more holsters from him as the needs arise.

One more update on the Kholster for the LCP. The replacement showed up today (very fast!!!) on the "crescent" leather. Looks a little funny, but dang it works well!

Been wearing mine uncut for a couple weeks now. I like having the leather between me and the grip on my Kimber Ultra Carry II. Didn't take long for the leather to form to me. Takes a bit of effort to get it in place if I don't put it on the pants before putting them on. Otherwise, I like it and I like the way it is concealed.
