Lookin for advice on a owb holster. I have a ctac iwb that I like, but think an owb would be nice for easy draw. I have a blackhawk serpa, but it feels like it sticks out too much. I have a medium, small frame (35" waist), so I can not conceal a large holster. I saw an itac on eBay, would it tuck in to my side better? I would like a paddle holster, but if I can not find on that tucks to my side well then I will go belt slide.

Thanks

I'm waiting on a Raven Concealment Phantom for my XD9sc, should be another three weeks:(. bart_p on this forum gave me this review on his "I will answer what I think you are asking by saying that the Raven that I have is absolutely fantastic. I've done some dynamic training with it and it has taken some pretty serious abuse. It has also had all of my weight on it down a nasty spill down a flight of stairs. I have used it exclusively every day for almost a year now and recommend it to everyone who carries. The guys that make them also back their product with a great warranty. I actually have another one on order for my carry gun that will allow me to carry a Surefire X300 attached for those nights I am out on the town.

They also work very well for me IWB. I literally carry a full size HK45 under a polo or t-shirt and it just disappears. I also use one of their double mags carriers IWB at about 7:30."

Also these reviews with photos helped me toward ordering one. Raven Concealment Systems Phantom Holster for XD9SC (review with intensive pics) - XDTalk Forums - Your XD/XD(m) Information Source!

Watch these vids about Magpul you can see glimpses of their prouducts in action

Everyone I've read about says they are solid behind their product. Worth a check out, but they have a 60 day wait right now. hth

p.s. I reread your post, look at the info on their paddle attachments in the XD Talk forum review. I have a set of these coming with my order.

I like good, ol' FOBUS holsters. I can't imagine how a plastic paddle holster could get any less bulky than a non-cant adjustable model of FOBUS. Leather holsters can be less bulky and the pancake and belt slide types do hold things nice and tight to you. I like paddle holsters when going different places in town, though, because they are so easy to remove if I have to go somewhere that I cannot legally carry. I don't like walking around with an empty holster on my belt. I know most folks probably wouldn't even notice the empty holster but I alwasy feel like I am wearing a sign that says, "There is an unattended handgun in my vehicle if you want to go and steal it."
