I posted a reply on that thread. I'm interested, but it'll depend on what day since I have so much going on. I don't get on arfcom very often, so I might forget about it. If you see that they've come up with a date, please post it here or PM me.

We are also talking about a Force on Force class at Range USA in August. The Force on Force requires the self denfense handgun as a prerequisite.

Self Defense Handgun: Street Handgun - Level I

Reload is only $30: http://www.rangeusa.com/Training/RELOAD/tabid/279/Default.aspx

Count me in for either of the last 2. The first is probably a 6 hour class (re: weekend). I've been to a Reload on a Friday night. About 3 hours as I recall.

Details....

____________________________________________________________________

Israeli Combat Training will be running 2 sessions in the Memphis area. Dates to be determined but most likely either in mid June or July. I will ask people to chose the weekend that works best for them.

Each session would be approximately 8 hours long.

The session for those that have trained with me before would focus on the following areas:

  1. Israeli Combat Pistol (A review of the core "Body, Gun, Shoot" methods)
  2. Israeli Carbine/Rifle techniques including weapon transitions
  3. Counter carjacking/vehicle ambush techniques
  4. Ballistic testing (actually seeing what your ammo can and cannot do!)
  5. Active shooter scenarios
  6. Urban Warfare techniques (room clearing)
  7. Krav Maga including weapon take aways
  8. Warrior Mindset training
  9. Retention fighting
  10. Multiple targets

And more...

The session for those that have NOT trained with me before would focus on the following:

  1. Core Base of Israeli Combat Training (Body, Gun, Shoot!")
  2. Warrior Mindset
  3. Introduction to Israeli Carbine/Rifle techniques
  4. Krav Maga including weapon take aways
  5. Multiple targets
  6. Retention
  7. shooting on the run

And more...

PLEASE understand, the session for those who have never trained with me is NOT basic. It is not "easier". I simply have a lot to cover regarding the Israeli techniques and for someone to jump into the other class, never having trained with me before, he/she will be a little lost and behind those that have spent time training with me in the past.

Please let me know your thoughts. I would like to limit each session to the first 10 people that express interest.

The approximate cost for the session will be $150 per person and this includes range fee to the owner of the land where we train.

As far as "round count"....My training is a lot more focused on building a rock solid Combat Mindset and drilling the core techniques into your muscle memory than shooting a thousand rounds downrange. We will shoot, of course, but the round count is lower than most training courses.

For the session that has never trained with me before, expect a maximum of:

1) Pistol - 200 rounds

2) Carbine - 100 rounds

For those that have trained with me before:

1) 300 rounds pistol

2) 150 rounds carbine

My training is primarily focused on the Pistol as I am of the opinion that there is too much focus on Carbine training and not enough on the Pistol. Most of us do NOT walk the streets carrying an AR15 yet a lot of us carry a pistol frequently. We will train on the carbine but this is a Mindset & Pistol class first, Carbine class second.

When the active shooter in your church starts killing people, it will be the pistol on your side that you reach for, not a rifle. Learn to love your pistol. Learn your trigger. Learn how to use it to effectively and violently eliminate your attackers.

I cannot say it any more clearly than that.

If you would like to ask questions, please do so. I am always here to help. If you have friends who have not trained with me before but would like to, please refer them to me or simply forward this message.

Thank you and I look forward to training together.

Ohhhh my very nice. Not sure if doable due to financial issues but will look at closely.

Thank you for bringing this up. If anyone has any financial issues and that is the reason they cannot train, please let me know. I have absolutley no problem working out a payment plan over 3 months or so.

I want people trained and energized. If money is ever the issue, let's work it out.
