In case the pic doesn't show:imgur: The Simple Image Sharer | Upload and Host an Image

man, i can never get the imgur stuff to work

Actual pic link is:

http://i.imgur.com/vxW7w.jpg

which you can see by right clicking on pic, copy image location, or use properties

And you left out a / in url, so wouldn't have worked anyway.

And you call yourself a geek, sheesh!

I didn't really leave out the extra /, I deleted it when I was trying to get it to work.

Thanks TDR and OhShoot. Other places the link works fine... wait a minute, in the other place I'm thinking you have to link to the page, not the image.

I find this "internet" to be substandard and confusing. I demand a return to the days of saying "the picture on the front page of sections c"

Just use insertimage.gif and paste in URL of the image itself and it'll show up on this hear 300 baud BBS.

300 baud? Where do you get this awesome performance? You must be close to the local switching station. My mighty Hayes modem boasts of such massive transfer speeds but real world throughput isn't so great. I spent a fortnight downloading our shotgun toting friend. Why can't all pictures be in ASCII?

I'm going to be forced to upgrade from this CP/M command prompt on the green screen on my KayPro. Thinking about taking the big upgrade to DOS 2.2 and one of them orange monochrome babies.

Gibberish? Maybe?

Gibberish? Maybe?

I'm not surprised that you are unfamiliar with the state o the art. We've got plasma screens these days, 80 characters wide. Sure, it is all orange, but is that worse than the green stuff you use?

Side note: That wasn't gibberish, that was state of the art 20 (or more) years ago.
