tell that to the guys carrying xdm9s

Why, are they the same size as a weapon that can hold 15 rounds of .45ACP? :D

pretty dang close

unless Im mistaken that the xdm45 will be really close to the same size as the xdm9:shrug:

I'm sure it will be similar in approximate size as was the regular XD.

XD Service 9/.40: 7.3 x 5.5

XD Service .45: 7.3 x 5.75

I can carry the XD45 just fine, no problems with concealment really. Certainly no worse than a 1911.

Have you ever tried it IWB? I carry a Commander and Government model 1911 and they are a heck of a lot easier and more comfortable to conceal than my XD-45 ever was

well yeah, works fine depending on the pants I am wearing. And that has more to do with my fat than the size of the gun.

They should make warm-up pants with belt loops.

I would have liked a higher capacity but at least the mags interchange with the regular xd-45.

Yeah.

Since the other calibers don't, I don't expect to ever go to XDM 9, since have significant investment in regular XD 9mm mags.
