Well, I'm not so sure that there is any more of 'them' now than than 10 years ago. The woman in the video needs to go away (didn't she?). Your post confused me because of the reference to Nazis. Most of the good ole American Nazis I've seen are right wing extremists, while this woman is a left wing extremist.

I'm struggling to figure out how the Nazi thing fits in with the rest of it.

Were the NAZI's in Germany right winged or left? The National Socialist Party in Germany(NAZI party). I'm relying on what I understand Socialism to be. NAZI's are frequently confused by some to be right winged. I guess it depends on what you choose to believe about NAZI's. I know skinheads are accused of being right winged and may call themselves NAZI's. Maybe they are, but I don't know. I view right leaning as meaning less governmental control, and left to be the opposite.

Hey, it's hard for me to believe it, too, but a lot of parallels exist today with those bad times. Hitler filled an idealogical vacuum, back then, and the people of Germany fell for his lies. He did a lot of damage. I think it's happening again. I wish it wasn't.

They are both based on ideas of Marx and Engles(sp?), and produce the same results. Mussolini was called a facist, but that didn't make him a right winger at all. He was raised and well endoctrinated in communist doctrine

by his father. He was also accused of being a right winged fascist dictator, but was much more of a socialist dictator, depending on how you define "fascist".

But, even tho we are seeing some socialist leaning philosophies (that have always been there with the far left), I'm not seeing a dictatorship on the horizon. Maybe I just have too much faith in the system.

"Our" socialists want total control over your life, not just look out for your welfare like the quoted post above indicates. Basically, that's not a colonoscopy you're getting. And they're all out of lube.
