Looks like this thread is going to devolve into nonsense posts, so before that happens ... thanks for all the great replies. After careful review and consideration of all said I side with the "no badgers."

A couple of follow ups though to your posts:

1) Carry concern I am referring to is out in public vs. in our office.

2) IWB carry using a, for example, CrossBreed SuperTuck would require me going out and buying new suit pants about 2 sizes larger. I found this out when I bought one for a Taurus PT Millinium Pro .45 which I don't use. (And want to sell.)

3) For summertime jacketless carry I often switch from a Glock G23 to a G27 side tucked in a fanny pack that looks like its only big enough to carry a wallet in :P Or a Galco underwrap bellyband.

Try on a couple of different pants that you have, and you may find they don't all fit the same. It's that way with me. If you can fit your gun without a holster into your pants, you should be able to fit a holster also. I recently bought a Galco N3 IWB for my Sig P229. It's pretty thin and comfortable. I'm just waiting for a gun belt now.

It seems like the gun prints more with thin T-shirts. The printing is less obvious with the larger T-shirts which are looser. However wearing a slightly thicker collared short-sleeve shirt and wearing the holster at about the two to three-o-clock position makes the print next to impossible to detect. I'm still waiting for my HCP so all my trials have been at home. But the point I wanted to make was don't necessarily rule out a IWB just yet.

BTW, I'm also anti-badge. When I worked EMS in NJ I was given a badge, but I chose not to wear it because I did not want to be mistaken for a cop.

Seriously, no.

Plenty of IWB that fit and work great, and are comfortable. CompTac MTAC for one. I have the older CTAC and I can't replaced it with the even more comfortable MTAC because the CTAC is that comfortable. I wear it everyday, at work with tucked in shirt, yes it is tuckable, I wear it with shorts and a Tshirt. It is all about the equipment. I sit most days in an office, comfortably. The days I'm not in the office, I'm out in the Jeep going to different sites. Comfortable. Pant size, about an inch larger. Good gun belt.

The biggest downfall of an IWB holster that is tucked in is the added step of untucking to draw the gun. Additional practice is needed to add that additional step. It is not much more than wearing a "cover garment". I don't wear cover garments for the most part, but I do have to tuck in my shirt. Here's a pic.

Tucked in. I promise it is there.

Just say No to the badge.

How is the holster latched in?

I upgraded to the V-Clips, which has a Velcro backing. They come with the other side of the velcro that has a adhesive backing that will tape it to the back of your belt. However, that is not the best way to do it. The best way is to buy a gun belt with the velcro sewn in or take your existing belt in to a seamstress shop and they can sew in the velcro for you.

The standard clips are go over your belt. I didn't like them because with a brown belt, it is quite obvious that you have "something" on.

In order to not "bash the HCP badge" and offend anyone, I won't say that is it mall ninja, or cheesy, or wanabee, or likely to get cops and BGs alike to make your life more difficult, or along the lines of buying a used Crown Vic and putting orange rollers on it, or simply unnecessary. I will just say this is how you are perceived by the general public...

Just not as cute.

Depending on your budget, you might want to consider a holster that can be used inside the waistband and outside the waistband. I got one from:

www.littlebearholsters.com

It's tuckable inside the waistband and it also has the cuts in the leather for a belt.

It looks a little like this, except without the fancy skin. The cuts for the belt are behind the clips. I don't mean for it to sound like an advertisement, but I like mine (it was just a little expensive).
