I was wondering if anyone knows were I could buy straight 8 sights for my Ruger 22/45. I want the sights to be more like what I have on my PT1911. The only sights I have found are fiber optic. Thanks!

All you need to do is replace the front sight with a blade type if you are wanting a more standard type sight

here is the front sight Front Sight A03612 MKIII & 22/45 MKIII models

A03612-MKIII-Target-Front-Sight-Sturm, Ruger & Co., Inc.

Front Sight Screw XR07600 MKIII & 22/45 MKIII models

Im guessing you have a bull or slab sided barrel.

Ok so now assuming that you already have the blade type since you have yet to say what is on it now.(thats what I get for assuming)The only other option would be to paint the front sight with some hi-viz type paint. You only have two options with that gun the fiber optic or the blade type if you are having problems seeing the sight as much as your going to end up spending on a new one why not just put a red dot scope on top of it and be done. The gun already came with the scope mount base and the red dot will come with the rings/mounts.

If you are looking for "fixed sights" that would be a down grade for that pistol

as it comes with full adjustable target sights from the factory.

Truth. A lot of owners end up putting a red dot on it. I wouldn't because my .22 is practice for my center fires. There aren't a whole lot of options.
