Well its a small world now because of the net. My neice who lives in Louisville was really close with the 16 yr old girl who died in that shooting. They met online and traveled back and forth to spend time together. My neice was in CO for a month with her family recently. Shes devastated by this. Too bad someone couldnt have shot the nut job before he killed her. This garbage is why ive recently been looking into getting a gun. People have lost there ever lovin minds.

Sorry to hear that the loss hit especially close to home for your niece. Events like this serve only to reinforce the sad facts of life that...

1. There are people out there who want to hurt you for no reason at all.

2. The police cannot protect you 24/7 and are a reactionary service.

3. We must take personal responsibility for our safety and that of our loved ones.

I carry anywhere that I can, every day. Church included.

Curiously the media isn't calling this a hate crime even though the perp clearly and loudly expressed anti-Christian statements.
