Just a note to say hello. Only a newb to this forum. A friend invited me because I lived in Tennessee the first 52 years of my life. The last eleven have been in Georgia - boss called one day, "Your job is in Atlanta. Wanna keep it?"

Anyway ... I will probably read a lot, post a little if I think I can contribute to a thread.

I am an NRA Certified Instructor and was certified by Tennessee to teach the handgun safety class for carry permits when I lived there.

I was in the Navy from 1965 to 1978, I've built 1911's and AR's to teach myself how they work. I really enjoy the shooting sports, but just "Joe Average" in most disciplines.

Thanks for letting me in to what appears to be a great Forum.
