PETA trying to stop bow hunts in the Loudon, TN

> Subject: Ask Tennessee Neighborhood to End Cruel Bow Hunts!

>

> Dear xxxx,

> Distressed Tennessee residents are calling PETA, outraged that the

> Tellico Village Property Owners Association (TVPOA) in Loudon,

> Tennessee, is considering using bow hunts to "control" resident

> deer populations. PETA recently informed TVPOA officials of the

> extreme cruelty of bow hunting, but our concerns have apparently

> fallen on deaf ears.

> Bow hunting is among the cruelest forms of hunting. Many deer who

> are shot are merely wounded by arrows. Bow hunters routinely spend

> hours tracking the blood trails of deer struck by arrows before

> finding them. Three decades of research tells us that for every one

> or two animals struck by arrows and retrieved by bow hunters,

> another wounded animal disappears, never to be found. And the

> slaughtered deer aren't the only victims: Mass killings tear apart

> families, leaving young and weak animals vulnerable to starvation,

> dehydration, and predators.

> Please contact TVPOA officials and politely ask them to take bow

> hunting off their list of deer-control methods.

> Thank you for speaking up for animals!

I guess as a wildlife biologist she understands that there are hunting seasons for a reason and that over population causes disease and starvation that decimates herds for years. All though that wouldn't fit the agenda. What nuts!

Ideas such as respect for animals and nature stem from the beliefs of ancient tribal cultures, such as those of the Native Americans. Anybody have any idea how they fed themselves? They hunted. WITH BOWS.

Geez. It's too bad that an overindulgence in idiocy isn't a crime. The world would be free of organizations like PETA who just don't understand the way the world REALLY works, and politicians would be non-existent, wouldn't that be wonderful?

Oh yea PETA, lets DON'T thin the deer herds down...so we can have MORE deer/car collisions, and kill MORE innocent children; just like what happened out on hwy.100 in West Nashville, that killed the little girl, when the deer came thru the front windshield of the car.

Wheres the sorrow and pity for a lost HUMAN life???

What about the family of the child, which is now torn apart???

Truth is, they don't give two :P:poop:'s about human life...and never will.

These people make me want to puke, with their animal rights diatribe, and pablum spewing hatred of hunters and the American way of life.

I am a member of PETA. I love the time my family and i have enjoying the outdoors watching all the wildlife God has blessed us with. And thank You Lord for all the tasty ways you have blessed us with to cook deer and turkey.
