I had no doubt it was possible to have one made. Anything can be made if the materials exist. The legality of it was my biggest question. Good to know I can have this done when the time comes.

Designing large magazines for rimmed cartridges is very difficult. The rims cause feeding problems if they are allowed to get in front of each other. The AK drum is designed for rimless cartridges and may give you problems with the rimmed .410 shells.

If you decide to play with this, keep us informed! I'm sure others would love to know how to get it done.

Might be able to take one of the 12g drums and mod it.

Replace the feed tower with a 410g Sagia mag.

Rework the guts to hold 410g shells instead of 12g.

Might also be able to take a 308 drum (HK or Beta) and rework it. Not seen a 12g drum so I am not sure what they did to prevent rimlock. A little study, some mechincal skills, a few smarts and some $$ will work wonders.

AK drum is not deep enough. Material would have to be added to deepen it. Also Ak drum is tapered (bigger in the rear and smaller in the front) Might make it harder to rework but might also give extra room to help prevent rimlock.

Several good paths to go here, I would try to aquire or at least take a good look at all of them before starting a project.
