So, I am at the range with my M&P15T with all the tacticool lights, lasers, bells and whistles. I had recently moved my EOTech a couple of inches forward on the rail to install my 3xmagnifier. I ensure that the bolt is sloppy wet and I am ready to start blasting. From 25 yds I missed the target completely. Talk about embarassed. Instead of zeroing the eotech I just went to the iron sights which I can see in the lower 1/3 of the eotech and all was well. I also used the the CTC MVF515 for the first time. It was about 3 inches high out of the box which is easily corrected. I view my range time just like I view golf. "There is no such thing as a bad day of golf or a bad day at the range".

I guess I will go up to the old Brighton Arms to take the time to zero the eotech. The last couple of times I was there it was not crowded and I felt like I had my own private range.

Don't feel bad. I had my EOTech zeroed at 100 yards. Then, for some reason, I decided to "tweak" it. Make it even better, ya know. I ended up flipping up the iron sights and using them because I was burning up too much ammo trying to re-zero the holo. I'll fool with it more this week.

Well, I got the EOTech on paper today at 25yrds. Saturday was so embarassing. Now to fine tune it. As you can see I had to walk it in from the left a little.

75 feet and still getting torso shots? Why be embarassed?

I moved the eotech forward a few inches to install the 3x magnifier and did not zero the sight. I was not even on paper the first few rounds. Can you imagine the feeling you get in your stomach when you check your target and don't have a single round in it? It sucks.
