I had a friend pick me up six boxes of Winchester at Bass Pro Shops in Shopry Mills. $18.97/box. They had 30-40 boxes left there after he got mine.

Ready. Set. Go!

Man, I wish I could find some around Knoxville. There was a lot at the gun show yesterday but I'm not paying $30 for 50.

+1. Especially not for Blazer (not even Blazer Brass) FMJ.

I got lucky and found a 100 round box of the UMC JHPs at Wally a couple of weeks ago. The lady in the sporting goods department said that .380 is still selling pretty much as quickly as they come in. She says that the same one or two people come in and buy it all (some of them are, of course, buying it to resell.) She said that those folks pretty much know when the ammo will come in and they show up and clean out the shelves. Walmart has had a limit on the amount of ammo one person can buy per day for some time now to try and stop such activity but these folks just bring another guy or two with them and by the time they all reach their limit, no .380 left.

South Clinton Pawn Shop has a sign up saying "380 AMMO IN STOCK". It was way after business hours, but I noticed the sign as I was driving by.

We got a shipment in the other day, limit two boxes per customer, $15/50rds. It's PMC.

There ya go folks.. Doesn't get any better then this. If you need more then 100 rounds at a time you've got a serious problem becasue a .380 isn't a range gun.

.......and they want $30.00/box. I quizzed the fellow behind the counter (seriously, a real nice guy) as to why so high and he gave me the rumors. He then proceeded to tell me that the pawn shop right down the road from them are selling the same stuff for $50.00/box! I did happen to luck up and found some at SGCUSA.com - SGCUSA.com. They had about 6,000 boxes and were down to 28 in three days. I bought six boxes and wound up paying a tad over $16.00/box, including UPS. Still way too expensive for a tiny bullet with almost no powder behind it, but at least I can pay it and not feel like I had just been handed a jar of vaseline! Keep checking and, when they do have them again, find someone to split an order like this. Otherwise shipping will eat you up on 2-3 boxes.

I just got an e-mail from Gander Mountain that my five boxes of Speer Gold Dot 380 ACP JHP had been shipped and should arrive Tuesday. $104.95

I had a promo code from a previous order that gave me a discount.

That's the best price I've seen from anyone that actually had any in stock.
