Who knows what will come of this, but according to what I've read, the school is only worried about whether or not the teacher was using school computers and school time to engage in such activities.

That's true and I agree with them. He has a right to say whatever he wants on his own time, but not on the taxpayers time with the taxpayers resources. He is incredibly childish as well. I think they should be able to fire him on that basis alone. We need grownups teaching our children. Of course, his calls for the acquisition of the tea partiers social security numbers and other personal information is borderline criminal. Though he never said what he intended to do with this information, I doubt his actions would have been in the best interests of those targeted.
