So, I found a GREAT deal on a holster...

Recommended Posts

and piper266 bought it for me as a gift. It is a Fobus paddle holster made for the Bersa 380, so i thought it would work with my FEG PA-63. When I got home to try it out, it didn't fit. Evidently the designs are not as close as I thought they were.

What do you guys recommend? Should I return the holster, bring the gun with me this time, and see if they have one for the same price that fits? Is there anything I can do to the holster to make the gun fit? Does anyone on here need a holster for a Bersa, or have one that will fit a PA-63?

Your pistol does look somewhat similar to a Bersa, but I've never held a PA-63. I guess the only recommendation I have for you is to make sure that you've done some adjustments on the retention screw to make sure that it was not simply set to tight from the factory. Not a whole lot of room to change a kydex holster.

Although there is certainly a difference in Kydex and injection molded plastic, my point was that its not very adjustable outside of the tension made by the retention screw. I sometimes forget that everything must be so technical.
