Yea I got it to carry. Last summer I had a few rust blooms appear from being out side hot and sweaty like to have cried. So I went and got the RI and put the commander up. I really hate to see a pretty gun messed up.

Mine had a few battle scars Unfortunately my house was robbed when I was at work and that was one of the 3 pistols that were stolen. I miss that thing almost everyday!

The originals that were stolen. I havent replaced them with a 1911 yet. Heartbreaking eh?? I got a couple carry pieces now. A Glock 26 and a Taurus .38 sp Snubbie.

Though about selling them and snagging a cold defender..who knows.

I would still be hunting the BG. I have had a couple liberated from me over the years. I have some general ideas where they went and figure if I set back and watch soner or later they will surface.

Im pretty sure I have an idea. I sold some musical equipment on Craigslist and you have to go through my room to get to the music room. I had a watchbox with a really nice collection of watches and a pistol on the nightstand, and the colt in my waistband. I figured out through some detective work who he was and where he lived. Tracked him down and followed him to see if he was wearing one of my watches.

No luck.

I like that CCO with the DW grips best...sweet piece!

Just to ad, the cco is a tack driver, no question about it. It is very light and feels sweet in the hand.

I havent shot a DW that I didnt absolutely love. They are incredible pieces for the price. Too bad they are going up so high.

Thanks Magic, I like them too. That is part of the reason I took them off. I want to keep them nice. I wanted a tougher material though and I like micarta.
