Shooters,

I know there has been a lot of speculation etc., about the match due to the weather. Though I cannot predict what tomorrow's weather will be like, I will say that the match officials will be there at 8:30AM to hand out SR1's and start squadding. If we start late or have to stop early due to weather than we will adjust the match program accordingly. As of now, Sunday's weather looks like it may be O.K. , but again I cannot guarantee weather. I will say if we have enough shooter that want to shoot and we start a match we will finish it rain or shine, either day, as long as there is no lightning dangerous weather. (Ask Frank B. and Emil K.)

Fingers crossed, I will be wheels up for the range in 11 hours.

Shooters,

Conditions today prevented us from finishing a full match. Not good for the shooters who came out today, but great if you are a one day only shooter and Sunday is your day. Weather tomorrow is supposed to be sunny and 72*F. With the moisture we got today, seeing mirage shouldn't be a problem!

Due to the fact that we completed no full matches today, the TN F class championship(LR) will be determined by the aggregate of Sunday's matches. So, if you missed today and still want to shoot for the championship/match/class winner, you can come out tomorrow and still be able to win overall. We will all be starting on equal footing.

Registration tomorrow starts at 8AM central and ends at 9:15 central. First round down will be 9:45AM. Tomorrows course of fire will be a three 20 shot matches. Match fees for the day will be $30.

Shooters who came out today and paid for the full weekend, please see me at tomorrows stat table.

If you have any questions about tomorrow please feel free to call me. My number is listed in the latch program in the top post of this thread.

Randy,

Michelle is here. Unfortunetly, we got rained out before she took the line. We also have Jim Murphy, Bob Depp, Jeff Bartlett, Wandy Wells, Jeff Traylor, Dale Carpenter, Bret Solomon and a few other's who have done some serious travelling. I hate that we had to call it, but it's not worth someone getting hurt by lightning.

I'm not sure how much shooting I'll do this year. I have become infatuated with running my car around race tracks. It came down to reloading components or tires. I can find tires. I cannot find primers or any substantial number of bullets/powder. I'm holding my primer/142SMK stock until later summer, and I'll try to shoot the second half of the year. I may get a few matches in before September to knock the rust off and get things sorted. (ie. get my wrist used to the sling again!)

I'll be out this year. Oh, and I go left AND right. Road courses, not oval track stuff.

Well that makes it even more exciting then!

I'd like to congradulate Jim Sokolowski. Jim is the 2010 State Long Range F class Champion. I would also like to congradulate Jeff Traylor, the match winner of the 2010 Long Range F class championship. Again :P

A write up and scores will be posted as soon as I recover, but I would like to thank Steve Parker, Tracy and Halie Pitts, Howard Pitts, Matt Kubic, Clyde Kunz, The Graham Boys, Jack Dickson Maj. Shepard, SFC Kennedy and SGT Montgomery. I'm sure I have left someone off, and I appologise for that. Without these shooters working and during the match, this championship would not have been nearly as smooth as it was.
