Limited features from OS4 for First Gen and 3G Iphones!

Curses! Just found out that the first gen and 3G versions will have limited support of the new OS4 coming out in June. One main feature missing will be multi-tasking. Doh!

A jailbreak App called Poof! does that.

I keep gun parts in mine. Quite handy actually, very hard to knock over and lose little pieces when the top is on.

I won't miss them either, 'cause i have a GS. The iPad is real slick, and will make lots of folks happy. I'm tethered to a laptop because of some work related stuff, so an iPad would be just an extra device I would have to carry around. Besides... I have a few guns left on my gotta have list

I agreed until I played with one for about 20 minutes. Sure there are some things it can't do, but a lot more that it can. My aging laptop has now become a desktop.

did anybody noticed , if you google Ipad , every single picture shows a same time 9:41.

I know why it says 9:41. Apple likes to introduce the product about 40 mins into the talk so when they slap the picture up they put it at about 9:40ish. They're on west coast time and the events start at 9.....

I've got an iPad and it rocks but it is going back tomorrow, I've gotta get the 3g version. I might ditch the iPhone some crappier device...

Played with an ipad tonight at the Apple store - it's pretty slick. My wife wants a 3G model so that will probably be her anniversary gift in June.

Won't be suprised if we own two of them by Christmas. It's way cool.
