Nice to see someone taking control. I especially liked the low light training. I wish my class had done that. I suppose I could try that here at home in the woods some night but I don't think the people in earshot would appreciate it.

Good for her! Now she needs to learn some tactical skills from awareness to use of cover and concealment and she will not only feel safer and more confident she will BE safer and more confident.

My wife was beaten and robbed in the parking lot at West Towne Mall in Knoxville years ago before we met. Right after that she picked up a gun, practiced with it, got her carry permit (back when you had to be bonded through the Sheriff's Dept.) and continued her shooting courses as well as honing her combat skills. I pity the family of the skidmark that attempts to rob her the next time. Funerals are getting pricey and unexpected expenses can catch a family off guard. She will absolutely, without hesitation and with extreme prejudice make him a part of the historical record.

Also, she is wrong to imply that she now has the training she needs... WRONG. She needs a lot more training than just the permit class. Hopefully, she won't have to be victimized again to learn that.
