I heard a rumor that Marlin was closing the doors sometime soon. Is there any truth in this?

i'm pretty sure that is true but 'Marlin' won't be going anywhere I don't think. Whoever owns them, fn or remington will probably still make them. I thought I read that in my 1st Freedom mag or I may have seen it on here.

Marlin will move from their present digs in CT sometime in the next year, I forget the projected date.

Moving their production to be incorporated into the Remington facility in Ilion, NY.'

Far from a rumor, they've issued official press releases some time ago.
