Another Memphian

Hello! I was born and raised in Memphis, but now I live just outside the city limits in Fayette County.

The DH and I just recently got our CCPs. Both of us have had handguns for some time. I even took a safety class at State Tech (when it was still called that) about 14 years ago when I got my first semi-auto, a Ruger KP95. When my work hours changed so that I was having to go in earlier to open, I decided it was time to stop putting off getting my permit. We started going to the range at least once a week to practice, usually twice, and now we’re both hooked. Hubby knew my 9mm was going to be way too big for me carry concealed so he surprised me a few weeks ago with a Kel-Tec P32 with an extended magazine. I also think he wanted the Colt Mustang for himself for his carry.

We have 3 fur kids – 2 geriatric Rottweilers and a 7 year old Bagle (Beagle Basset mix – all of which are rescues. I do some volunteer work when I can for a local animal rescue. I’m also an avid reader. We both enjoy riding our HD Roadking and are active members of Memphis HOG. I work for company in Bartlett doing purchasing, receiving and distribution. It’s nice that it’s close enough to Range USA that I can go get some practice time in during my lunch hour.
