im long time linux user. Red hat was my first distro, and i hated it

i used to use KDE on my ubuntu.

but switched back to Gnome.

my little one is using Ubuntu since she is 2years old.

That's awesome, strel. I didn't like Redhat, either. My son uses ubuntu and loves it, except when he plays the games. Guess I'll have to try linux again.
