Hello from Bellevue (Nashville)

Hello. I'm Keith. Another new member, D3vo, told me about TGO and it looks like a great place.

I'm a beginner shooter and so far have shot at Uselton's in Franklin, Guns and Leather in Greenbrier, and Stones River HEC. Uselton's was the newest and brightest of the 3, but his prices are crazy high. I prefer Stones River for the price and being outdoors. The RSO's there have been very helpful. The computer controlled range at GnL looks like fun, but I didn't try it yet.

I've also gone for some sporting clays out at the TN Clay Target Complex off Briley Pky by the prisons. That was a lot of fun. I see a shotty in my future.

I'm attending an HCP class this weekend.

Firearms

Springfield XD .40 subcompact

Walther P22 3"

H&R .22 model 939

I used to have a Norinco SKS (who didn't), but I never had a place to shoot it so I sold it. And for waaaay to little. Now I know about Stones River HEC and wish I had it back.

Welcome...I'm just a hop, skip, and a jump away from you in West Nashville. You may also want to try the TWRA range in Joelton. It is outdoors, and a decent range, when they are not busy. It's only around 5 bucks for ~2 hours, give or take a half hour.

I've heard of the the range in Joelton, but according to Google Maps it's about the same drive time as Stones River. And I usually shoot with a guy from Antioch or one from Mt. Juliet. It's time for a West Nashville range.

Welcome from another Bellevue resident. I usually just take the back roads and drive to the Montgomery County range in Southside. It's more or less the same amount of driving time as Stones River but I like the range a lot more.

Welcome from yet another Bellevue resident. I used to work in Cool Springs and I usually shot at Owl Hollow. At $40 a year, its pretty cheap. I go to Gallatin Gun Club some to shoot - I just wish it was closer.

What we need is a range in south-eastern Cheatham county!
