I couldnt give a **** what kind of snake it is. I hate them all equally.
and by hate, I mean I am scared to ****ing death of them.

My wife is like that, she can't watch shows on Discovery that has snakes in them, she will get up and walk out, or turn her head until they are off.

Not everyone can tell the difference between a poisonous and nonpoisonous snake at first glance....

Same way with spiders, here!

The poor bugger got a double tap 135gr hollow point. He was nearly split in two at the exit wound, I have only felt this level of adrenaline maybe 2 times in my life. One involved a guy trying to stab me at work (I was unarmed at the time) the other involved a semi almost pinning me into a divider wall on I-65. It was a very primal and violent thing. Thanks guys! I also had no time to determine if it was poisonous.

Right out of the 2009/2010 TWRA hunting guide, pg.12 states.......

The taking and/or illegal possession of

hawks, owls, songbirds, endangered species

or any other species for which a season is not

set (e.g. snakes) is prohibited.

Don't matter to me if you kill em all, and frankly, could care less.

Just trying to keep a fellow TGO member out of trouble.

And yes....It was still a good shot!

It STILL AINT ILLEGAL IF YOU ARE OR FEEL THREATENED, PERIOD!!

And as far as I go, I feel threatened by em all, therefore, Im pop-in everyone I see, "friendly" snake or not.

The ONLY good snake........is a dead un.

I took the picture down after it was identified.

It is legal, but not advised, to kill an animal presumed to cause you serous bodily harm or death as long as you are not in the commission of a crime.......I believe this can be assumed......
