Bobcat and Rattlesnake

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

Have any of you seen this video? A friend sent it to me in an email, and it is awesome. This bobcat comes up on this rattlesnake, and kills the snake! The rattlesnake never touched the bobcat! This is some fight! I don't know how to post a video on here, but if someone else does, I'd be glad to email it to you.

That is a cool video. Bobcats are fast, and their eyesight is extremely good. I have had them spot me in a tree stand from a long way off and that was with me being perfectly still and fully camo'd up.

My favorite is how much 'hang time' that bobcat gets on some of the higher leaps up/back when getting out of the snake's way. A couple of times, it almost seems to just hover.
