Hey all, just wanted to update all of you that Dans ammo recieved a batch of Swiss police P228 trade in's yesterday and has them up for sale on his site, one of the grades have already sold out so if your looking for one of the arguably best 9mm ever made take a look at his web site. My P228 Swiss police trade in I bought last year is by far my Favorite Sig and will be in my family for a long time!!! COOP

Magic, my P228 was the (fair) condition and had a LOT of holster wear, so one weekend I was bored so I stripped the finish on the slide and all the controls, and proceeded to polish it all by hand and on my buffing wheel so no actual finish on anything but the frame, it never rusts and is handled and shot all the time. I would be willing to do the same to one of your P220's if you want just send me a PM and we'll talk!!! COOP

I carried a Sig 228 for 10 years. I sometimes regret trading it. It never once failed me. But at the time a friend wanted one and was willing to give up one of his M7M8's for it. So I traded it. To me the 228 was the best Sig ever produced. It was a perfect combination of size and function. Most I guess preferred the 226, but I liked the 228.
