Two words: "Bite me"

If they're an activist, 'Bite me" works real well. :D If they have just never been around guns, have a limited knowledge of the subject, and are against guns because their friends are, I've been able to flip a few of those.

Most of my friends aren't from TN, or even from the South. Probably more than half are ok with guns.

What's the short and skinny argument/statement you offer when involved with an anti when they bring the fight to you, should you engage?

Just because you, "we" have the right, is not a reason or excuse to force it upon those who choose to not use that right.

So I would advise to avoid or not engage in such matters.

I would also hope that those who do not want to use the rights that we all have, would respect and honor my rights.

"Carrying a gun is the greenest form of self protection. Pepper spray releases a considerable amount of CO2 into the atmosphere. Tasers use batteries made of chemicals that harm the environment, as do cell phones. Additionally, when the police receive your call. Think of the countless pounds of pollution being dumped into the atmosphere as their V-8 squad cars rush open throttle to the scene. Alternatively, you can use a firearm which releases negligible amounts of CO2 and lead usually resulting in compostable material (i.e. a corpse). Additionally, guns rarely are thrown away or end up in landfills; quite the contrary, they are recycled over and over again and even passed from one generation to another. So just remember, you are not carrying an evil man-killing device, but rather doing your part to protect the planet and our environment!"

Mine?

"If you want to take away my right to bear arms well i guess its only fair that i can take away your right to live."

They will start talking about how i threatened them and i just say

"Well if you believed in the second amendment you wouldn't have this problem would you?"

I hope you're joking. The Brady Bunch would love to get their hands on this quote.

I was referring to the ones who are rabidly anti-2A and refuse to listen to reason.

I should have distinguished between the two groups. I believe we should educate the ignorant when they are receptive to learning.
