Got my Liberty!

Just like to say I finally got a safe after much research. Liberty Franklin 35 to be exact. The guys at the Safe House were great to deal with too. I was giving serious thought to the Patriot 2 hour safes because of the electronic lock they offered, but just couldn't bring myself to buy something I couldn't touch first. Did much thinking on my choice and was going to buy the Browning Silver in the same size, showed up to look at a few other of their safes (they have a lot of safes to look at by the way, sizes and brands) to make sure what I wanted and there was a Liberty. Had a new type of electric lock that I for some reason really like even though I was leaning toward dial. The Black Chrome hardware looks great on it too. Once again, I can't say enough for the customer service at The Safe House.

I lost my liberty and much of it's contents in the great recession of 2009... I'll get another someday... Perhaps one of, if not the best Safes on the market. Congrats on a wise purchase.

I originally bought mine because a client had had one in his office. It was stolen and about a month later recovered in a wooded lot. It had been hammered on, hacked on, cut on and pried on. It was unopened. He sent it back to the factory, where they opened it under warranty, but unable to repair it, replaced it with a new one with all of the original contents and shipped it back to him. How can you beat that for integrity and service?

There are three things to look for when buying a safe: 1. Internal hinges. 2. Cross bolts 3. Fire rating.

Mine was a 42 gun Lincoln presidential series that I bought from Jerry Miculek at Clark's
