Yea, this is a great flashlight for the money! I have two of them and will probably pick up a couple more, it is very "enlightening"!

check out Cree they have drop in LED conversions for surefire stuff. only prob is that the reflectors are a little big and must be 'ground' down or trimmed to fit into the SF housing.

You can melt the retinas of those around you from across the room in the middle of the day.

Women have shoes....we have lights. Yep, I'm a light whore! Picked one of the Extremes up an hour ago. Nice light. Where to use it? Have a light on Home Defense gun. Have a nightfighter light in gun bag. Have multiple lights including the hand compressed trigger for "free" light in hunting bag. Mag light in truck. Got it....back up emergency power failure light in bathroom. That will justify it to the wife!

Only 4 3/</B>4"... small enough for you to stow just about anywhere. But don't think they're lightweights on power. A 1W LED bulb is responsible for a big light show, over 60 LUMENS! And each bulb is rated for over 20,000 hours of life, don't worry about replacement any time soon. The tactical window-breaker tips are icing on the cake. Keep a couple around the house, in the car, even in the pocket of your jacket. Here you SAVE an amazing amount!

Tactical:

  • Weather-resistant aircraft aluminum body, black anodized finish
  • No-slip grip handle
  • Glass-breaking crusher on both ends
  • Anti-roll design
  • Tactical-style push button on / off on end
  • Takes 2 CR123 batteries, not included
  • Measure 4 3/4"l., 7/8" diameter. Weighs 3 ozs 24.95 for both sportsmansguide.com

Just ordered a pair. I was looking at Surefires E2D but for half the price and twice the lights I will give these a try.
